Gentle Dental Care
At Rose Lane Dental Practice we aim to provide treatment for our patients in a comfortable and relaxed way. We understand that a visit to the Dentist can be worrying and our whole team will do their best to support you.
In some circumstances patients may feel that they are unable to cope with the dental treatment they would like to have. In addition to our calm, relaxed approach, we can also offer sedation.

Your dentist will carefully discuss your requirements and ensure sedation is right for you.
Medical History
It is important we understand all aspects of your medical conditions so we can treat you safely.
Giving Sedation
The sedation agent is administered through an injection in the back of the hand or forearm (intravenous sedation).
Dental Care
Once you’re feeling sufficiently relaxed, we will numb your mouth and carefully undertake your dental treatment. During the procedure you will be largely unaware of what is going on.
Recovery
Many patients do not remember anything about their treatment. We will give you time to recover following the sedation.
Discharge
Once we have assessed you are ready, you will be allowed home with your chosen escort.
