Ian is a dentist with a clinical practice dedicated exclusively to Endodontics—the branch of dentistry concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of infection and inflammation of the tooth pulp. Such conditions can cause significant pain and infection, but with effective endodontic treatment, teeth can be restored to full function and remain pain-free. This allows patients to retain their natural teeth and maintain a healthy dental arch.
Ian holds a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Endodontics from King’s College London, as well as a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. With over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, he has provided comprehensive general and restorative dental care. For the past decade, his work has been focused solely on endodontic treatment and the restoration of endodontically treated teeth.
Ian accepts referrals from dentists seeking advanced endodontic care for their patients. He uses microscope magnification alongside evidence-based techniques and materials to maximise the likelihood of successful outcomes.
He divides his clinical time between Elbow Lane Dental Practice (Formby) and Rose Lane Dental Practice in Liverpool.
